Similar to a sheet metal screw, multi-purpose self-drilling screws have a drill-shaped point to cut through the substrate thus eliminating the need to drill a pilot hole.
The WING-TIPS are specifically designed for securing timber decking to steel framework, by boring a larger hole than the thread diameter.
Suitable for all hardwood timbers up to 22mm thick including Jarrah, Merbau, Kapur, Batu etc.
Available in 8, 10, 12 & 14 gauge from 25mm to 70mm long
Approved for ISO category 4 & 5 environments.
