Batten Screws are heavy duty fasteners, typically used for fixing larger timber joints such as decking sub-frames.
These fasteners have a bugle head (self embedding ribs), a Type 17 point for self drilling into wood (although hardwoods will need a pilot hole) and are a 14 gauge screw. These Batten Screws have a #3 square drive which helps with the installation of the screws. All our Batten Screws have 10 TPI (threads per inch)
