Sikaflex®-527 AT Isocyanate free sealant with reduced substrate preparation

Sikaflex®-527 AT is a single-component Silane Terminated Polymer (STP) sealant that cures upon contact with atmospheric moisture. Designed for versatile elastic joints, it is suitable for both interior and exterior vehicle body applications. This sealant offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials typically found in body shops.

Benefits:

Quick curing with superior handling characteristics, Sikaflex®-527 AT can be painted over using water-based paints. It bonds effectively to numerous substrates without the need for a primer. The sealant is resistant to aging and weather conditions, emits low odor, and is non-corrosive. Additionally, it is free from solvents, isocyanates, silicones, and PVC.

Suitable Usage and Application:

Sikaflex®-527 AT is designed for sealing, seam sealing, basic bonding, as well as vibration and sound dampening in vehicle body construction and collision repair. It offers strong adhesion to common body shop materials such as metal primers, paint coatings, metals, painted plastics, and plastics. Users should consult the manufacturer and conduct tests on original substrates before applying Sikaflex®-527 AT to materials susceptible to stress cracking. This product is intended for skilled professionals, and compatibility and adhesion must be verified through testing under actual conditions.

PLEASE NOTE: "Sika Shelf-Life Policy" Sika offers a minimum 3-month shelf-life on all products.

Trade Warehouse will verify the shelf-life of the product prior to purchase at your request, for dispatch of stock from the nearest Sika location and/or where goods are available from, depending on stock location.
