Sikaflex®-295 UV is a single-component polyurethane adhesive with a paste-like texture that cures upon contact with atmospheric moisture. Designed for both interior and exterior sealing tasks, it is also ideal for bonding organic glass in marine applications. This product complies with the standards established by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Suitable Usage and Application:

Sikaflex®-295 UV is specifically formulated for the marine sector, ideal for bonding and sealing plastic glazing on boats and ships. Its outstanding resistance to weathering makes it suitable for sealing joints in exposed environments. Compatible substrates include aluminium (both bright and anodized), GRP (polyester resin), stainless steel, timber, two-component coatings, and plastic glazing materials such as PC and PMMA. Users should consult the manufacturer and conduct tests on original substrates before applying Sikaflex®-295 UV to materials susceptible to stress cracking. This product is intended for skilled professionals, and adhesion and compatibility tests under actual conditions are essential.
