Sikaflex®-292i - Multipurpose adhesive for marine applications
Sikaflex®-292i is a one-component, non-sag polyurethane adhesive with a thixotropic, paste-like texture that cures upon contact with atmospheric moisture. It offers superior adhesion and strong mechanical performance. This product complies with the International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) standards for low flame spread.

Suitable Usage and Application:
Sikaflex®-292i is designed for structural joints in marine applications exposed to significant dynamic stresses. It effectively bonds metals, especially aluminium including anodized surfaces, metal primers, two-component paint systems, ceramics, and plastics such as GRP (unsaturated polyester resin) and ABS. Users should consult the manufacturer and conduct tests on original substrates before applying Sikaflex®-292i to materials susceptible to stress cracking. This product is intended for skilled professionals only, and compatibility and adhesion must be verified through testing under actual conditions.
PLEASE NOTE: "Sika Shelf-Life Policy" Sika provides a minimum 3-month shelf-life on all products.
Trade Warehouse will verify the shelf-life of the product prior to purchase at your request, for dispatch of stock from the nearest Sika location and/or where goods are available from, depending on stock location.
No refunds will be issued for Sika products where the shelf-life is indicated as being greater than 3 months.
