Sikaflex®-268 is a specialized adhesive formulated for the rail sector, ideal for assembly bonding and glazing tasks. Its exceptional durability against weather conditions and resistance to numerous cleaning chemicals make it perfect for exterior rail joints. This product works seamlessly with Sika’s black-primerless bonding technique and can be enhanced using Sika’s Booster and PowerCure systems for faster curing.

Sikaflex®-268 is engineered for assembly and direct glazing in rail, commercial vehicles, and repair applications. It offers excellent application and tooling performance. Its high resistance to various cleaning agents and exceptional weather durability make it suitable for exterior joints. Users should consult the manufacturer and conduct tests on original substrates before applying Sikaflex®-268 to materials susceptible to stress cracking. This product is intended for skilled professionals, and adhesion and compatibility tests with actual substrates and conditions are essential.
