Sikaflex®-227 1-component fast skinning sealant

Sikaflex®-227 is a single-component polyurethane sealant specifically formulated for automotive body sealing. It cures upon contact with atmospheric moisture, forming a resilient elastomer. This sealant offers excellent adhesion to a broad range of materials.

Benefits:

Features include quick string cut-off, rapid skin formation, and low odor, making it suitable for overhead applications. It adheres effectively to numerous substrates, can be sanded and painted, offers excellent aging resistance, and is free from silicone.

Suitable Usage and Application:

Sikaflex®-227 is designed for sealing, seam sealing, basic bonding, as well as vibration damping and soundproofing in automotive body repair and construction. It is compatible with metal primers, two-component paint systems, metals, painted plastics, and plastics. Users should consult the manufacturer and conduct tests on original materials before applying Sikaflex®-227 to substrates susceptible to stress cracking. This product is intended exclusively for skilled professionals, and adhesion and compatibility tests under actual conditions are essential.

PLEASE NOTE: "Sika Shelf-Life Policy" Sika provides a minimum 3-month shelf-life on all products.
