Batten Screws are heavy duty fasteners, typically used for fixing larger timber joints such as decking sub-frames and commercial decking and boardwalks
These fasteners have a Bugle Self Embedding Head and a Type 17 point for self drilling into wood. Hardwoods will need a pilot hole.
Commonly Batten Screws will have a 4mm hex drive which helps with the installation of the screws. All our Batten Screws have 11Tpi (threads per inch)
