Sikaflex 258

Sikaflex®-258 is a primerless, cold-applied adhesive designed specifically for windscreen installation. Optimized for manual use, it offers an extended open time, allowing secure application even in warm environments. For primerless glass bonding, the glass must be cleaned with an automotive-grade cleaner like Sika® CleanGlass, and bonding surfaces should be contaminant-free with appropriate UV protection, such as a ceramic frit.

Solvent free, no odour
Easy to extrude with manual application gun
Primerless to glass adhesion
Good bead stability and non-sag properties
Short cut-off stringy

Sikaflex®-258 is suitable for experienced professional users only.
This product and related process information is designed for Automotive Glass Replacement. For other applications, tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
