Sika® Primer-215 - Non-pigmented, solvent-based primer for plastics and wood

Sika® Primer-215 is a solvent-based primer with a clear to pale yellow appearance that reacts with moisture to create a thin bonding layer. This layer enhances adhesion by connecting substrates to adhesives. It is specially designed for preparing surfaces before applying Sikaflex® adhesives and sealants.

Suitable Usage and Application:

Sika® Primer-215 enhances adhesion on a range of plastics and wood, including GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, timber, and concrete. Given the diversity of plastics, it is essential to conduct preliminary tests on original substrates under production conditions. Consult the manufacturer’s guidance and test materials susceptible to stress cracking before application. This primer is intended for use by experienced professionals only. Adhesion and material compatibility must be verified through testing with actual substrates and conditions.
