Delivery/Shipping Information

Flat rate shipping of $10 + GST ($11.00 incl GST) is available on the majority of purchases to most destinations in Australia from Perth to far north Queensland. Please ensure that multiple items are purchased together in one order to qualify for combined shipping.

Combined orders over $150 incl GST automatically qualify for FREE* shipping anywhere in Australia.- ( see exceptions below)

*Please Note: Delivery surcharges apply to heavy/bulky items (e.g. most wire mesh rolls) to many postcodes.

Order Processing:

Our aim is to process & despatch the majority of orders received during business hours on the day of receipt. Orders received after 1400 hrs local time will usually be despatched the following business day.

Small orders will usually be send with Australia Post eParcel service & larger bulky items will usually be sent with TNT Couriers. In either case you will receive an email tracking advice from us as soon as your shipment has been sent. 

Typical delivery times will vary depending on destination and the order – see below for guidelines

Delivery Times:

Small Orders:

All destinations: Where possible we will send out small lightweight orders such as timer switches via express post – these are generally delivered next day to Capital City CBD and in 1-3 business days to most other locations. Larger orders will be sent either via Australia post eParcel or TNT couriers.

All Other Orders:

NOTE: Above times are estimates only and may depend on the location of stock required to fulfill your order. We reserve the right to ship stock from either of our warehouses, so please check before ordering if you have a time sensitive order.

Orders placed online over the weekend or will be despatched Mondays (excluding public holidays) If you have a time sensitive order, or require a specific delivery time, please contact us as we offer express & overnight delivery to many locations for a small surcharge. Obviously express shipping is not usually practical for large bulky items such as wire mesh.

International Shipments:

We are happy to ship to New Zealand & offshore Australian destinations such as Norfolk Islands etc, however for any other destinations, please contact us prior to ordering to establish whether we can ship to your country and what the additional shipping costs will be. Note: If we ship internationally, our price excludes any import taxes and duty in your local country. You should find out what these additional costs are before making a purchase.

Tax Invoices and Declared Values:
All of our shipments include a tax invoice. We represent all of our products as merchandise and the declared value for each item will be the exact price that you paid for it. For international shipments we cannot lower the declared value or mark the package as anything but merchandise (this means NO gifts!!). We also note shipping charges on the tax invoice as required by the carrier.

Tracking Your Package:
You will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail the day that your order leaves our warehouse. This email will contain your tracking number (if available) along with a link to the tracking website for your package.

Heavy Items:

Some items which we sell are heavy and our courier drivers may require assistance from customers with unloading these items from their delivery vehicle. Our standard delivery service is by courier and as such are single manned vehicles. Our delivery does not include specific requirements such as 2 man assisted delivery or delivery beyond the front door. If you are ordering a heavy item which cannot be handled by one person your must make arrangements directly with the shipping company once we have informed your who the item has been sent with. Delivery drivers may attempt delivery and if there is no one at home who can assist with the unloading, the courier may return the item to the local depot and the customer will be required to arrange re-delivery of the item or arrange collection. Any additional charges incurred for a bespoke service are the responsibility of the customer to pay.

Customer Collection:

Customer collection from Sydney & Perth is acceptable but by prior arrangement only as this allows our team time to pack your order. You should select 'click & collect at checkout' or contact us following your purchase if you want to arrange to collect your items. If you have a need for your items by a specific time or date, please contact us prior to purchasing the item/s to confirm that you can collect by your required date/time.

Important Information:

All orders are insured door-door, they can be tracked online & usually need to be signed for. However if you are happy for your order to be left without signature, please ensure you make a note of this in the delivery instruction box & we will be happy to do this.
